INSIDER’S GUIDE TO PURCHASING TICKETS AND ENJOYING THE SHOW

Your guide to ticket purchases and attending the show.

Important ticket information

With AXS Mobile ID, your phone is your ticket! Download the AXS app and access your tickets prior to the show.

ticket faq

Your AXS Mobile ID is the secure and unique code for all of your tickets, and all you need is the AXS app to use it (Download on iOS or Android). No paper tickets are required.

AXS Mobile ID is a digital ticketing technology that provides the flexibility and convenience of safely and securely managing tickets online or in the AXS mobile app and is the preferred admission method for the Frederik Meijer Gardens Amphitheater. It eliminates paper tickets and allows you to enter the venue with your AXS Mobile ID and manage your tickets digitally.

AXS Mobile ID allows for convenience, flexibility, and security. Guests can manage tickets digitally, transfer or sell tickets when needed (if applicable), and remain assured that all tickets are authentic and secure. The move to AXS Mobile ID is designed to put tickets in the hands of our guests, reduce ticket resale from unauthorized sites & ensure that we know who is coming to the show.

Upon purchasing tickets, your AXS tickets will be automatically added to your existing AXS account. If you do not currently have an AXS account you will be instructed to create one during your purchase. You can also create an account without purchasing tickets by going to AXS.com and enter some basic account information. After completing the account information, you may buy, sell or manage any seats in your account.

We are now a cashless venue! Credit and debit cards will be accepted at the Box Office and Eileen DeVries Concessions Center. A “Reverse ATM” will be available to turn cash into a card that can be used anywhere for guests who carry cash.

Chair height restrictions do not apply during the Ayers Basement Systems Tuesday Evening Music Club.

Concerts take place rain or shine! Bring your ponchos and smaller umbrellas if there’s a high probability of rain. Please be courteous to your neighbors. Umbrellas must be lowered during performances.

Our weather policy states: If there is inclement weather in our area, the concert will be delayed until the threat has passed. The decision to continue a concert after adverse weather passes will be determined on a case-by-case basis, based on consultation with appropriate weather experts.

Because these are outdoor events, on very rare occasions we may cancel a performance or temporarily postpone the show until weather passes. Many factors are considered, including predictions from the National Weather Service and other weather services, before making a decision that has an impact on ticketholders.

If a performance is canceled or temporarily delayed, ticket holders will be notified via on stage announcements, on-site signage and notice will be posted to Meijer Gardens’ website homepage. Any potential ticket refund information will be communicated as soon as possible after the performance is officially canceled via the original ticket holder’s email address provided at the point of purchase.

Each artist has their own photography policy, pertaining to guests and media alike. Meijer Gardens helps enforce these policies by prohibiting all SLR / detachable-lens cameras, iPads, and video-recording / live streaming devices. Typically, still photography is allowed with nonprofessional cameras with fixed lenses or phones.

Please be considerate of guests around you when taking photos.

It is our intent to make the concert experience enjoyable for every guest. The Frederik Meijer Gardens Amphitheater is an accessible facility and proudly exceeds ADA regulations. Guests with medical or mobility issues may visit the Box Office window to request special consideration for seating.

If seating in low chairs will be a mobility issue, a limited quantity of standard-height white plastic chairs are available to rent ($10). To rent a chair: Make your payment at the Box Office, pick up your chair nearby and take it to one of the designated seating areas. Our staff and volunteers can assist with this process as well.

Barrier-free areas are marked in blue, at the left and right top sections of the Amphitheater hill. View a map of barrier-free seating locations HERE.
