The Technology Department provides cutting-edge equipment and services to make a vision a reality. The audiovisual team will effectively communicate any message and create an event that exceeds your expectations.

When planning an event, having the appropriate audiovisual solution makes all the difference. Certified technology specialists will assess each need and create a solution within budget. This initial assessment is included with a rental and is tailored to fit the needs of each individual event.

Audio

The audiovisual team operates a state-of-the-art audio system. Every room and corridor holds high quality speakers, and combined with cutting edge digital audio processors, the audio system produces superior sound quality for any event. The audiovisual team can cater the audio system to all sound needs.

Many of the event spaces are equipped for the hearing impaired. This means numerous event rooms are able to transmit audio directly from our speaker system to a hearing aid with the appropriate technology.

Event spaces that are equipped with an induction loop system:

  • Huizenga Grand Room
  • Hauenstein Room
  • Pfeiffer Room
  • Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Foundation Room
  • Klopcic Family Foundation Room

Video

From corporate meetings to presentations, Meijer Gardens is equipped with ultra-bright, high-resolution projection systems and video monitors that will handle most any digital playback file. Whether your video is a digital file or media disc, the audiovisual team could integrate it into any event to better help the audience visualize a message. Nearly any device, including computers, video players, cameras, iPads and more, may be utilized by our video systems.

Lighting

Event lighting illuminates the space and helps create the perfect event aesthetic. Creative lighting may be used to transform any event room into an environment tailored to your experience. Combined with staging and backdrop elements such as draping and other lighting tools provided by Meijer Gardens, lighting services can inspire any event. The audiovisual team has access to a wide variety of lighting solutions to help plan your event’s lighting process, from design to delivery.

Presentation Aids

Easels, whiteboards, flipcharts, and a variety of other tools and presentation materials can be effective communication components during your meeting. Meijer Gardens can provide the appropriate materials to make your presentation a success.

Autumn Nights

Every Tuesday in October!

Please Note: To enter Autumn Nights, guests must enter through the Amphitheater gates. The Richard & Helen DeVos Japanese Garden, The Lena Meijer Children’s Garden, and the Sculpture Park are closed during this programming. 

Sculpture park closure

Please Note: The Thicket in the Sculpture Park will be closed November 14-15 for landscape maintenance.
